My Award Winning colored pencil piece. I drew this over a period of 5 days, and I am thrilled with the way it turned out. It was completed almost two monthes ago, but it's been up in my school's gallery, and then up in the Ventura County Maritime Museum since the 4th of April. This piece earned me the People's Choice award, which is translated to the "SKREW YOU JUDGE!" Award. The Judge didn't like my wolves enough to even give them an honorable mention, let alone a placing, but that's okay, because I got a pretty ribbion anyway. In addition to that I entered them into the Ventura County Fair, where they recieved a First Place ribbon as well as a Judges Honorable Mention ribbon. That boosts my awards on this piece to three, and I have no intention of stopping there, I simply have to find a new contest.

Thank you to everyone who voted at the Maritime Museum! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

I did in a way, it was just one Judge's opinion for first, second and third. For My award it was votes, I won the popularity contest for my art.
