I'm applying the same perspective to my own characters
You can't force anyone to trust, any more than you can force anyone to love or hate or do anything else.
I don't know the whole situation, I'm just inclined to this view because the last time I felt I needed to be spiritually naked while not really wanting too.. well, I ended up learning that there are things much worse than his rejection, and that I can forgive myself even if he won't.
Anyway, about the art...
I am so impressed by the designs of familiars! They're all so beautiful and original! I'm sorry if you've said so before, (I didn't read all of the descriptions) but do you design them, or do the others design their own? I wonder what my familiar would look like.. but my spirit's appearance always changes.

If your goal is 100 steps away, how many steps did you take today?

The familiars are a bit odd in how they come about, actually. I guess you could say I design them, but they really do create themselves. Talon is based on a creature I could have sworn I saw as a little girl. Horxus was based off of a goat, and then was adapted off of Bobby's own art style. And Aquifer has adaptations that reflect Sarah's talents and interests. So I do designs that are created off of the souls themselves.
